We’re really excited to welcome PROOVE PIZZA to the event in 2018, they will be firing out their delicious, wood fired Neopolitan pizzas from their double oven and bringing their Italian Streetfood range too. Sample delights such as their moreish Arancini, creamy Crocche, heavenly Angioletti and their new, Italian inspired Crispy Fries. All served hot, crispy and fresh! Yum!

SMOKE BBQ will be serving their famous Pulled Pork Butties, with meat that has been rubbed in their house spice blend and smoked for over 12 hours till it’s fall off the bone delicious, then drizzled with a tangy BBQ sauce and served in a brioche bun. Also available will be Smoked Hot Dogs, featuring their award-winning sausages smoked and finished on the BBQ pit and served in a brioche sub. Yum!

COW BOYS specialise in American cuisine, with burgers made with 28 day dry aged beef, fresh baked brioche buns and American cheese. They serve their burgers with a range of delicious and unusual toppings, including candied bacon and macaroni cheese!

DON CHURROS will be returning this year with their vegan, organic and fresh churros with a selection of high calibre sweet dipping sauces including vegan proof dark chocolate and dulce de leche. Don Churros is the dessert offering provided by Wah Wahs Food and they are happy that they appeal to and are adored by just about everyone (although they’re not gluten free just yet, sorry about that!)

THE GRAVY TRAIN specialise in Poutine, a melty, gooey, belly-warming delight from Quebec. Traditionalists would argue that the holy trinity of poutine – Gravy, Cheese Curds and Fries – is perfectly formed and needs no additions, and to those people I’d say “Gosh darn-it you’re right!” But we’re open to a little Charlie Mingus-style improv here at The Gravy Train so feel at liberty to load your Poutine with our Blasphemers’ delights – Shredded BBQ Chicken, Mapled Bacon, Crispy Onions, Roasted Peppers, Sauteed Garlic Mushrooms and more!

LITTLE SOMBOON KITCHEN is a family run business serving sensational pan-Asian fusion street food, all freshly cooked in front of you alongside ice cold Thai beers. Lon is from Khon Khan in North east Thailand and combines what he learnt as a child in his village with what he learnt cooking in European restaurants over the last 15 years to create his fantastic dishes. A natural performer, you can always expect a little entertainment along with your food as well!!

MOSS VALLEY FINE MEATS produce pork, bacon, ham and sausages in their own butchery from pigs bred and reared on their farm in the beautiful Moss Valley near Sheffield. The family has lived and farmed there for a hundred years in farm buildings dating from the 9th, 14th and 16th centuries. Their pork is bred for taste, tenderness and succulence, a characteristic of the Duroc breed that they use. They will serving up their delicious sausages, burgers and bacon from their stall in the lower gardens at this year’s event.

Trained in crêpe making in Brittany, OOOH LA LAA crêpes are fresh and delicious and can often be seen satisfying hungry customers at food fairs, farmers markets, festivals and events across Derbyshire and the surrounding shires.

Freshly cooked to order and only using the very best ingredients, their delicious homemade crêpes are generously topped with anything your heart desires from our extensive menu.

THE OTTÖ-MEN have an infinite choice of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean Ottoman inspired food at their fingertips. Check out their OTTO wraps and Insane wraps – fresh khoubz wraps with a selection of basra date chicken, seasonal falafel and spiced halloumi, filled with Otto bulgur, groovy hummus, yogurt, fine infused pickles, esme salsa, Otto sprinkles and funky sauces. Passionate about the environment, bio packaging and non GMO comes as standard with The Ottö-Men. They also have an extensive vegan, vegetarian and gluten free offering alongside their stand out meat dishes.

PIE EYED will be dishing out their homemade proper pies with mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy to hungry guests from their pitch in the central area this year. The popular Sheffield company is opening up their first permanent unit in in Cutlery Works, Kelham Island this autumn, scheduled to open at the end of October.

We are Dan and Sarah and we run the SUNSHINE PIZZA OVEN, based in the Peak District, near Sheffield. With the help of our friendly, efficient team and our beautiful orange pizza ovens, we produce tasty wood-fired pizzas, which are hand-stretched and thin crust. Our dough is slow-proved, containing 100% organic, stoneground flour, grown in England. A third of our flour comes from Worsbrough Mill, near Barnsley, where it is milled by water power. The pizza sauce is made with 100% organic tomatoes, and we use fresh, whole mozzarella, seasonal vegetables and a selection of Italian meats and cheeses. We also have gluten- and dairy-free options.

Ginger Pale Ale (abv 4%) Whether it’s the height of summer or the depth of winter, our Ginger Pale Ale is a refreshing, easy-drinking beer which features a warming ginger taste. Intrigue for the taste buds, refreshment for the taster, this beer is always a popular choice amongst drinkers.

Stancill Lager (abv 4%) Stancill Lager 4% is produced using Bavarian techniques, English Malt, Noble Hops and Peak District Water.  This Lager is clear, clean and crisp. Everything you’d expect from a Premium British Lager.

Illuminate Bar Featured Beers: BRADFIELD BREWERY

Farmers Blonde (abv: 4.0%) This award winning, very pale brilliant blonde beer has citrus and summer fruit aromas making it an extremely refreshing ale.

Farmers Belgian Blue (abv: 4.9%) This unique beer has Christmas berry overtones: and has a slight blue tint to the head – making it an unusual winter warmer!

We’ve got the team from BEETLE JUICE bringing their fantastic cocktail bus, which was a huge hit at this year’s Sheffield Food Festival. They’ll be selling freshly shaken cocktails using premium spirit brands, Aperol Spritz, canned craft ales, fruit ciders and soft drinks.

Dan and partner Claire operate Beetle Juice North East from their base in Leeds. They became Beetle Juice franchisees in 2017, and spend the majority of their weekends from April to October attending events all over the north of England with Vera, their 1979 T2 VW campervan mobile cocktail bar. 2018 has been particularly busy for Vera, who has traded at both Sheffield and Leeds Food and Drink Festivals, ParkLife Festival, Leeds Festival, VW Festival (Leeds), Underneath the Stars Festival plus numerous weddings, parties and corporate events. MR D’ARCY’S DRINK EMPORIUM is a lovingly converted Rice horse box trailer serving premium drinks. We are delighted to be joining the team at Illuminate the Gardens this year and will be serving up some lovely warming drinks including mulled wine, mulled cider and baileys hot chocolates alongside our standard offerings of g&t’s, prosecco, chocolate champagne and a special bonfire cocktail. THE CURATOR'S HOUSE is the permanent cafe at the top of The Botanical Gardens, near to the Clarkehouse Road entrance. They will be open throughout the event for food and snacks including warming soups, bacon and sausage baps with toppings and chips, and lots of delicious homemade cakes. They also serve hot and cold drinks, such as mulled wine, hot spiced apple, alcoholic hot chocolates and coffees as well as all our normal range of hot and cold alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Food and drink available to sit in or takeaway, children sized portions available, along with toffee apples and cupcakes.

BUTCHER & CATCH bring local fresh food to the heart of Sheffield, in a relaxing, friendly environment with their restaurant in Broomhill. The ethos of Butcher & Catch is simple: use the very best seasonal and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Their team work with British suppliers and local farmers that are as passionate about growing and rearing as their chefs are about cooking and serving.

The team will be bringing their range of delicious savoury snacks, including piggy popcorn and bacon candy. Grab yours from their sale point next to the main bar, or watch out for their roving sellers around the event.

CAFE CARTE is a small family run business that offers fresh “bean to cup” coffee including Cappuccino, Latte, Macchiato, together with Tea, Hot Chocolate, cold drinks and associated snacks. They’ll be located by the Brocco Bank gate, offering hot drinks to keep our guests warm as they queue to come in.

Warm yourself up in the EVENT IN A TENT tipi near the fountain this year. They make proper coffee, as well as serving tea and herbal teas. There will also be alcoholic winter warmers on offer, and a good selection of sweet treats too!

From their base in North Wales, Event in a Tent provide tipi hire throughout Wales and the local counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Lancashire, Merseyside and Herefordshire, as well as the whole of the UK, Ireland and into Europe. After several years of weddings, parties, festivals and corporate events all over the UK and Europe, they are confident they can help you with your event, whatever the occasion, size or location.
